Founder and President of SHL, Roger Samuelsson, signed the LOI during a special ceremony hosted by Dr. Ching-Ming Yiin, Minister of Economic Affairs. A select group of other multi-national companies including Bayer, Siemens, 3M and Corning also signed similar agreements.

Commenting afterwards, Roger Samuelsson said “It is an honor to be here today and commit to further investments in Taiwan. Over the last few years, the drug delivery industry has seen amazing growth. As one of the key suppliers for our industry we need to match that growth with sustained expansion. Our goal is to expand our manufacturing facilities and improve our R&D capabilities locally. Most importantly, we will continue to hire more staff in Taiwan with a target of doubling in size over the next 3 years.”
